Education:
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program.
- Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the Alberta College of Physiotherapy.
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and rehabilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Manual Therapy training is considered an asset.
- Dry Needling or Acupuncture certification or roster status is an asset but not required.
- Additional professional development courses are considered an asset.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
- Support patients through injury recovery, pain management, mobility improvement, and functional rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and long-term wellness.
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on clinical excellence and exceptional patient experiences.
